As a member of the CISS, you will receive a regular series of publications and discounted prices on books and seminars that examine strategic issues with a degree of detail simply not available in the traditional mass media. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in regular events and seminars, such as.
- Annual Autumn Seminar: This annual series is entitled The Canadian Strategic Forecast, and focuses on the issues and trends which may play a significant role in shaping Canada's foreign and defence policy in the coming year.
- Annual Spring Seminar: Each spring, the CISS conducts a seminar dealing with contemporary issues concerning Canadian foreign and defence policy, as well as broader international themes.
- Speaking Engagements: Prominent speakers are invited to address members of the Institute and the wider public.
